Michael A. Peters-- Sr. VP of Business Development

Michael Peters serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for TransFirst’s Independent Sales Services. In this role, Mr. Peters is responsible for cultivating and managing TransFirst’s Independent Sales team to exceed its sales goals and generate multimillion-dollar revenue growth.

With more than 25 years of sales management experience, Mr. Peters has demonstrated success in developing integrated sales strategies, building partner relationships and evaluating programs to continually stimulate additional business with targeted market segments. In addition to this role, Mr. Peters has been involved in numerous due diligence reviews for M&A’s in the receivables management and portfolio acquisitions industries.

Prior to joining TransFirst, Mr. Peters served as Senior Vice President, Group Executive at Chase Paymentech Solutions, where he was responsible for a 17-person management team and additionally charged with motivating and leading 185 representatives. He also held senior sales roles at First Data and Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.
